High School

Dual Credit & Concurrent Enrollment (CEP)

High school sophomores, juniors and seniors can get a head start on college education by taking Dodge City Community College courses during the day, at their high school, with their high school classmates.

These courses are only available to students attending a high school that has been approved for concurrent enrollment partnership (CEP) at Dodge City Community College.

What you should know about CEP

  • CEP students have the same placement and prerequisite requirements as traditional students.
  • CEP classes include the same content and rigor as traditional on-campus classes
  • Credits earned through CEP transfer to other colleges just like traditional on-campus classes.
  • Concurrent Enrollment courses are offered at each outreach high school.
  • The CEP program is strictly regulated by the Kansas Board of Regents. View the KBOR Policy.

For more information, view the CEP Student Guide.
